Nairobi is rising, and the ongoing Kenyatta Avenue–Upper Hill viaduct is a strong symbol of Kenya’s commitment to building a modern capital city.

The project, being implemented by the Kenya Urban Roads Authority, is designed to create an elevated road link that will ease traffic between Valley Road, Kenyatta Avenue, Upper Hill and the Central Business District. This corridor serves thousands of motorists, workers, businesses, hospitals, government offices and public institutions every day.

The viaduct is expected to reduce congestion, improve movement into and out of the CBD, and support faster access to Upper Hill, one of the city’s most important commercial hubs.This is  more than a road project. It is a statement of national ambition: Kenya is moving, Nairobi is transforming, and the future is being built today.
