American R&B star Ne-Yo is expected to perform in Nairobi on Mashujaa day October 20, as part of a daytime event organized by One Night Only, dubbed the “Brunch Edition.”
One Night Only made the announcement through their official Kenya account, with tickets set to go on sale on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Tickets will be available through TicketYetu, from Ksh 7,500 for Early Bird Gold, Regular Gold for Ksh15,000 while Platinum will cost Ksh 40,000.
The Nairobi Edition will offer a live daytime music experience with a different social setting from the conventional late-night concerts. This is a chance for Kenyan R&B fans to enjoy some of the amazing songs and anthems in a brunch setting.
The three-time Grammy Award winner returns to Kenya after 11 years, with organizers promising a first-of-its kind live brunch experience. Ne-Yo stormed the International stage with his 2006 debut album “In My Own Words”, which featured the chart-topping hit “So Sick.” The song topped the Billboard Hot 100, establishing him as one of the most defining voices of Pop and R&B in the 21st century.
His catalogue also include “Sexy Love,” “Because of You,” “Closer,” “One in a Million,” “Miss Independent”, and “Time of Our Lives.” His return marks the second time he is visiting Kenya, with the first being in 2015 for the third season of Coke Studio Africa where he performed alongside Tanzania’s Ali Kiba, Uganda’s Maurice Kirya and Nigeria’s Ice Prince.
Ne-Yo’s Music career spans more than two decades, while also having built a career in film and television, appearing in productions such as Empire, Dance Monsters and World of Dance.
