The 2025 edition of the Readers’ Choice Awards, published in October 2025, proved that our strength is not just in nature or landmarks, but in people. 

Travelers from around the world rated Kenya above all other countries in terms of warmth, hospitality, and welcoming spirit.

The publication highlighted that beyond Kenya’s spectacular wildlife and safari lodges, it is the genuine kindness of local tour guides, city hosts, and community members, that creates unforgettable experiences. 

Through the votes of hundreds of thousands of readers of Condé Nast Traveller. They evaluated countries on how friendly and welcoming local communities are to travelers, and Kenya ranked highest.
